Location: Lake Manyara, Mkomazi, Tarangire, or Serengeti (outside park boundary)

View nocturnal animals; leopards, hippos, porcupines, genets, civets, bush babies and lots more. Night Game Drives are also a sensory experience; listening to the night sounds and learning more about the African stars. Night Game Drives can be held in a handfull of national park ares in the north. Tarangire and Lake Manyara have accommodations and/or specialized operators who are authorized to conduct the Night Game Drives inside the park boundary with their own vehicles. Properties outside a park boundary can often offer this activity as well, but it is a tradeoff for daytime game viewing accessibility. A successful night game drive, with several good viewings of wildlife can be very rewarding. On the other hand, good sightings are less of a certainty in the evening and when luck is bad, can be disappointing.
