A2T and Willy exceeded expectations, over delivered, and made our trip a success!
Willy greeted us with a warm smile, hug and handshake the first time we met him. He was ALWAYS early and waiting for us. Willy was warm, caring, patient, and did an excellent job of positioning the vehicle to get the best photos while balancing that with respecting the animals. He also was a master at balancing the amount of time we spent watching animals with moving on to explore. I never felt rushed. His attention to detail was excellent. Right from the start ….having cold bottled water available in each of our water holders, he explained all the features of the vehicle including the awesome charging station, the bean bags for steadying our cameras, and every day we started with a clean vehicle. He was extremely knowledgeable, and I appreciated that he used the guide books when asked a question he needed to research further in order to answer our questions. We were so surprised when we checked into our room in Dar es Salaam and received a call from Willy to make sure we got there safely. He was such a professional and did an excellent job!
“Excellent staff. Casey was extremely responsive in planning the trip. I had certain things I did and didn’t want to do, he tailored our experience accordingly (and with keeping our budget in mind). The trip was perfectly proportioned, mostly because of him. Our guide on the ground, Wilfred, spent 12 days with us. We couldn’t have asked for someone better. We became comfortable companions, easily sitting together in silence over long drives or telling stories during dinner. He didn’t wait for us to ask something, he anticipated our needs. When he saw we didn’t finish our lunch boxes, he asked us what we liked and didn’t like. He made sure to relay the information to the hotels and we finished out lunches going forward. He saw I had an itch to get into the Wildebeest migration. Even though it was far away and our chances of finding it could be small, he made sure it happened. The staff set everything apart, especially when we compared it to our tour companies we saw in the area.”
