Alex was wonderful. I can’t imagine a more fun person to spend 9 days with. Nothing was a “problem” for him. He answered all our questions. He really was determined to find all the animals for us and we saw the Big Five in the first 3 days. Sometimes I thought he was a magician as he would spot the leopard in the tree, way in the distance. He was also a wonderful driver. I have always suffered from motion sickness and I brought medication and Sea Bands on safari and was prepared to ask for the front seat in the vehicle. Instead I spent 9 days in the far back seat. No motion sickness at all. He was also so patient. At our first lion encounter, I could not see the lions on a hill. Alex gave me very specific directions to find them. I was probably too excited. He came to the back seat and worked with me until I found them. Thank you Alex.
“If you’re looking for a doorway into the world of Tanzania’s parks and wildlife, look no further! We’re very happy with our experience with A2T. From Casey’s initial response to the final itinerary, Casey helped us plan a memorable and exciting trip, asking many questions, listening to our feedback and changing things as necessary. He and Karen provided timely service and essential information about traveling to Tanzania and life on safari. Their lists, videos, and visa instructions were so helpful. Our itinerary was very well calibrated, so that each camp and park experience was different from the other, becoming progressively more exciting and magical in totally different ways! The transfer from the Seronera Airport to Stone Town was seamless, despite our bittersweet kwaheri to the mainland and Barney. Casey recommended we stay at Rivertrees Inn in Arusha on arrival, which was a good call for a soft landing after a long couple days of international travel. Thank you for helping us plan an incredible adventure!”
