We can’t say enough positive things about our guide Barney. He was knowledgeable, friendly, interested in our questions and opinions and managed to pique our interest in things that we didn’t know we wanted to know about. Despite some long days, he was always enthusiastic and prepared for the next adventure and was a particularly apt role model of hakuna matata. He was a skillful driver over some very bumpy roads, even as he scouted out wildlife hiding both near and far. We learned a lot about Tanzanian culture and recent history from him, as well as animal, plant and insect habitats and their symbiotic relationship. He did an excellent job creating special moments for us and gave us a glimpse into how people live and work during our brief stay in Arusha. He was a comfortable and fun person to be around and our friends and family have heard many Barney stories as we’ve shared tales from our trip. Asante sana, Barney.

“What an amazing experience we had in Tanzania. The volume of animals we saw was beyond our expectations, the accommodation you organised was top class and the people are so generous of spirit we were always greeted with a smile and the pride they have for their country was clearly obvious.”
