Truly a Dream to Reality Trip and Can’t Wait to Go Back!

We could not have asked for a better guide. Alex was truly wonderful in every way and he really made our trip just incredibly unforgettable. He is very knowledgeable with culture, politics, and wildlife in its environment, and has super bionic eyes. Whenever we saw a bird or animal, he knew what it was and was able to explain a little something about what they were doing or going to do. He spotted a male and female ostrich and stopped to explain what we were about to witness — and surely enough, it was a beautiful mating dance. We witnessed gazelles posturing and going into a fight, brother lions after a take over of a pride, baby topi being born, cheetah putting on a show after his meal… list goes on and on. With Alex, we always felt safe and taken care of. His driving was safe and courteous — whenever we had a car approaching our direction, he would roll his window up to prevent dust from coming in. He knew just where the bumps were like he memorized the routes. We shared many laughs and insightful conversations. He was accommodating to our needs and adapted to our interests. At the end of our trip, we were sad to say our farewells to our new friend and we hope to stay in touch via facebook.

“Excellent staff. Casey was extremely responsive in planning the trip. I had certain things I did and didn’t want to do, he tailored our experience accordingly (and with keeping our budget in mind). The trip was perfectly proportioned, mostly because of him. Our guide on the ground, Wilfred, spent 12 days with us. We couldn’t have asked for someone better. We became comfortable companions, easily sitting together in silence over long drives or telling stories during dinner. He didn’t wait for us to ask something, he anticipated our needs. When he saw we didn’t finish our lunch boxes, he asked us what we liked and didn’t like. He made sure to relay the information to the hotels and we finished out lunches going forward. He saw I had an itch to get into the Wildebeest migration. Even though it was far away and our chances of finding it could be small, he made sure it happened. The staff set everything apart, especially when we compared it to our tour companies we saw in the area.”
