If you want to see the most of animals- Alex is a must have guide!

I think a guide can make or break the safari experience, since so many things and smoothness of the trip depends on him. We were lucky to have Alex, who was able to deal with all of our requests and questions. He made us feel at ease and accommodated our needs throughout the journey. He has a vast knowledge about animals as well as culture and history of Tanzania. And the most amazing capability- he has eagle-eyes!!! I still can’t believe how far he can see without the binoculars!!! So many times he would stop a car and tell us that there is some animal in the distance. We couldn’t see it without the binoculars, and sometimes struggled to find it even with the binoculars, so he had to direct us where to look!!! We saw so many animals. He had a lot of patience! After Tanzania we traveled for two more weeks on our own, and often wished Alex were with us, because we would have seen so much more!
All in all, if I get another chance to go back to Tanzania, I would want Alex to be my guide again.

“The entire trip was superbly planned, down to the tiniest details. In the planning stages, Casey was very receptive to what we were looking to do and was very straightforward about the pros and cons of each aspect of the trip. Once it was booked, he was very helpful with helping us plan and figure out what to expect when we got there. All of his recommendations and bits of advice were spot on. In particular, they went above and beyond when we had a problem during the trip. My wife had a reaction to one of the medications she was taking and we needed to seek out a doctor. Casey, our guide Maningo, and the rest of the A2T crew were on top of it, calling us in the middle of Ngorongoro Crater to make sure we got what we needed. Casey and Maningo got a local American doctor on the phone to consult, and we managed to fix the problem pretty quickly. Everybody was wonderful in a moment where we were feeling a bit nervous about what to do.”
