Mikumi National Park
Description: Mikumi, transected by the surfaced road from Dar es Salaam to Iringa is the most accessible park in the Southern circuit. The centerpiece of Mikumi is the abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplains that draw frequent comparisons to the more famous Serengeti Plains. Lions survey their grassy kingdom – and the zebra, wildebeest, impala and buffalo herds that migrate across it – from the flattened tops of termite mounds. It is perhaps the most reliable place in Tanzania to view the eland, the world’s largest antelope.

“Highly organized. Everything was thoughtfully done. A2T clearly knows Tanzania and can guide their guest for the best possible experience. You asked our price point and gave a us an incredible experience. A2T is much more approachable than some other companies. Other companies that we spoke with and have used in the past can be a bit condescending. You listened to want we wanted and created an incredible experience for our family. We have recommended A2T to others and will continue to do so.”
