David was terrific!! Very knowledgeable, professional, considerate, funny, and adaptable. He worked hard to help us see a wide variety of animals. He was more than a guide; he became a friend. We had a great time with David; we’d like to have to him along on all our vacations.

During the trip, our guide David was wonderful. He was very outgoing and friendly, yet still very professional. He adapted seamlessly to our family’s personality and though the days were long, they were certainly never without humor, excitement, or wonder. David was also very skilled at troubleshooting in the moment, which proved to be crucial to our trip’s success. We had 2 flat tires, a few late days, and a few other possible issues arise; David took them all in stride and expertly created solutions, with a smile on his face or a joking comment ready to diffuse any hint of tension or anxiety that we may have felt. Aside from these minor mishaps that were well-dealt with, our trip was unreal, and with David’s expert guidance/recommendations and driving skills, we managed to easily see all of the Big 5 (on a 5-6 day trip); truly amazing!

David was the absolute highlight of our vacation. He is knowledgeable, kind, engaging, smart and just fun to be around. About halfway through our trip I realized that we weren’t getting just “lucky” when we saw elusive animals up close. It was David’s keen insight, experience and network combining to get us to just the right place at the right time. Twice during our trip we stopped to help others who were having vehicle problems and it was clear that David has the utmost compassion for his colleagues and fellow travelers. You have a gem in David and we were lucky to have him as our guide.

David was the best! I could go on and on about his attributes. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, including the birds, but made it possible for us to witness them very up close and personal. He made every day a delight and ensured that every need we had was met, and added more fun to the day with his congenial and fun personality. David was always there when we needed him, was on-time and on-schedule. He seemed to know exactly where our excitement lay and optimized everything to give us the best experience possible. We were fortunate enough to experience three Mara river crossings in three days! It’s clear that David lives and breathes in Tanzanian wildlife and was able to impart within us how the whole eco system works. We were ecstatic with our experience with David and felt that by the end of our 10-day safari, we could call him a true friend.

David was very professional and knowledgeable but also very warm and funny. The guide can make or break the trip, and David worked tirelessly so we would have the best possible time. He was flexible to needs but also helpful in suggesting timelines.

We had such a great holiday with David. He was entertaining, and really knowledgeable. He made friends everywhere we went, and therefore we met lots of people. We really left Tanzania feeling like we had made a new friend, instead of just having a guide.

David was wonderful – he had a really good sense of humour and had a natural love of the wildlife and his country. He was very knowledgeable and made the extra effort to make sure that we saw as much as possible.
