Maningo was excellent. He really worked hard to provide the experience that we wanted — it felt very tailored to our preferences.

Maningo is an amazing guide!! I can’t rate him highly enough!! From the moment our feet touched the ground in Tanzania to the moment we took off for Rwanda, Maningo effortlessly took care of every detail of our stay making our experience the absolute best it could be. He is extremely knowledgeable about the country, people and the animals and is generous about sharing his insights. He is also fun with a great sense of humor which kept us engaged and entertained during our dawn to dusk outings. He was happy to let us get every moment of every day on safari, more often than not, racing back to camp as darkness fell. It was with a heart full of thankfulness and sadness that we waved goodbye to Maningo after 8 magnificent days in Tanzania.

Maningo was delightful and proved over and over how valuable an experienced guide is. We felt like he really knew the area and roads and had great camaraderie with other guides to keep updated on wildlife sightings.

Incredible. Maningo had to balance the needs of six strong personalities and one who was very nervous. He communicated clearly, anticipated our needs and took care of the littlest detail like duct tape for the power strip and Diet Coke. He found animals all over the place!! We have never seen the number of animals we did on any other safari.

Maningo is excellent–very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. For example, I needed to get some medicine for an upset stomach before we left Arusha for Tarangire, and he immediately called a friend with a pharmacy who brought what I needed to the car. It was exactly the same medicine I had been prescribed in the US, and it allowed me to enjoy the safari thoroughly. Maningo is also a very careful driver and made us feel safe even when there was a lot of chaotic traffic on the highway.

Maningo was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, knew where to find game, rest stops and all the roads in the 3 national parks. He kept current on game drives with his contacts and radio. He was always timely and ready to get going. He made sure the vehicle was ready and well stocked. He spotted game that we would never have seen on our own. He spoke excellent English.

Maningo was outstanding. No complaints.
