Ray is terrific! He is a talented guide and lovely, fun human being. Each day with him was thrilling. He is so knowledgeable about all species, and an amazing tracker. And he taught us much about his beautiful Tanzania.

We felt like Raymond was part of the family. Eagle-eyes while spotting game; quiet; knowledgeable about habits, foods, dung, areas where animals hang out. Professional about keeping his great friend and colleague, Alex’s death from us so as not to impact our trip! (Not necessary but so thoughtful!) Raymond knew about plant/animal interactions too – like ants and giraffes and whistling acacia trees. He found TWO not one leopard tortoise for us! An Exceptional Experience
We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Raymond was extremely knowledgeable about the country, the culture and the wildlife. He went out of his way to find animals and viewing opportunities for us. He was an exceptional guide.

Raymond was an absolute pleasure to travel with. Forever we will hear him saying “Let’s Rrrrrock and Rrrroll!” and “Life is good!” and “My friends….” phrases that punctuated our journey and made us smile. Ray was a wonderful guide, very accomodating to our little group’s desires. He showed sincere care for our well being and comfort, was alway on time and in good humor. He has an amazing ability to find the hard to see animals (Rhino’s and leopards). A world I’d never imagined
Wilfred and Raymond were fantastic and they were what made our trip as special as it was! They each added something a little different, and had an ease with us and with each other. I liked seeing the respect they have for each other. It is clear they both have a passion for their work. When we were able to see a leopard take down a zebra and then carry it into a tree, we knew we were seeing something rare because of their excitement.
Grandma’s Big Adventure
Where to start, Raymond was the best. I went on this Trip with my 78 year old Mother, 2 niece’s and son. He took care of us all. Then made sure “Grandma” was well taken care of. He was very knowledgeable of the parks and the wild life. He made the trip for all of us. Thank You Ray.
