Tanzania Guide: Raymond
Wonderful Safari Experience
Raymond did a great job and made sure we saw all of the animals we wanted to. He was also very personable and we got to learn a little about his life in Tanzania. You can tell Raymond loves his job – he went to check out a possible lion feast after we returned from a game drive and then came and got us because it was a good opportunity.
Wildlife Overdose
In many ways Ray made the trip successful with his desire to please the client. He was always ready for our early morning departures and able to answer all of our questions. But above all, his respect for the wildlife and love of Tanzania were obvious and infectious!
Amazing Trip to Tanzania
Ray, was phenomenal. He has 14 years of experience and knows the area like his palm. It was amazing to see that he was more excited than us to see and observe Serengeti. He showed us pretty much everything there to see (e.g., lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, wildebeest immigration), but more importantly, he deeply understood animal behavior and patterns. Raymond is your guy for Tanzania!!
Ray made our trip the most amazing it could be. We cried when we hugged him to say goodbye. He was super knowledgeable in all of the parks. He got us to places out of the norm so we saw the most we could. He was fun and engaging. If we go again, we would absolutely have to have Ray as our guide!
Everything we hoped for!
Raymond started as a guide and became a dear friend. He was attentive, patient, prepared, and knowledgeable. He made us feel taken care of and safe. His eyes and instinct for the next amazing sighting were amazing. On top of all of this – he was fun to be with for all of those hours and days. Ray’s cheerful, easygoing, easy to laugh personality was the perfect pairing for our traveling party. We appreciated his expertise in driving, locating game, knowledge of the various parks, ability to jockey for the best viewing positions, and cultural knowledge. Raymond was an excellent guide. He made the game drives fun, found great sightings, and seemed to have a good network of guides so we were able to find good sightings of the best animals. When I was not able together into the vehicle, he provided stairs for me, which was much appreciated.

Ray is an excellent guide, wanting to give us the Safari we want. Attentive to our interests from animals to birds to photography. Observant when we wanted to linger for more photos. He also had the right mix of birds for us. Perfect safari in Tanzania
Ray was amazing. Very professional and extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much about Tanzanian culture, people, animals… He was also very personable, warm, friendly and fun so we had a great time. We always felt like we were in good hands. He always asked how we were doing and if anything was needed, always on time and ready. Truly, our trip would not have been as great as it was without him.
Best Vacation Ever
Ray was a great guide, his driving ability, knowledge of the parks, knowledge of the animals, ability to spot the animals, knowledge of African culture were all excellent. Ray was extremely friendly; he became part of our family during the Safari. Ray provided us information about which animals we might see and by the end we had seen them all and more. When viewing animals Ray would tell us what the animal would do and it always happened as Ray predicted. We would highly recommend him as your guide.
