Perfection!

Raymond was great! His knowledge of animal behavior was vast, his knowledge of the parks and where animals might be was exceptional, he planned with us each day and we had a variety of goals over the trip-going from first seeing the animals to a deeper study of their mating, birthing, child rearing and finally bird identification. We had a list of “the best of the day” each and every day.

Ray was a great guy and we’d love to work with him again. I was very interested in getting great images of the animals and he made that a priority for me–he KNEW the best angles to take the image. It was also important for me to see a rhino and we saw THREE in Ngorongoro. When we got a flat tire in the crater, it wasn’t a big deal–he is great under pressure. He is a kind and funny person. When other guides from other companies were going off road (illegally), Ray did not, which speaks volumes to his ethics and love of wildlife/nature.

Raymond was an absolute gem. His passion for his job was reflected in his expertise and knowledge of the wildlife. His professional approach and easy going nature made him an excellent guide. At all times he wanted only the best for us, he truly made our safari very special.

Ray was the quintessential guide. He had great knowledge of animal behavior and did an incredible job of spotting animals and birds…while driving. His driving skill is excellent. We felt safe with him at the helm. He is truly a wonderful person and we are so glad to have him for our guide.

Ray was everything we could hope for in a guide and a fine person. He was friendly, funny, punctual, knowledgeable, experienced, courteous, and efficient.

Ray, our expert guide, was very thoughtful of our needs and a most caring and warm person. He was punctual, well organized and an extremely skilled driver. We always felt safe with him at the wheel. We were very impressed by his knowledge of the flora and fauna in the parks and overall familiarity with the terrain and the weather. It was most obvious that he had a genuine love of the environment and always held the welfare of the animals at the forefront of any decision. He appeared to have an innate sense of animal behaviour.

Raymond was outstanding! He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and so enthusiastic about everything we saw. We did more game drives than I expected, which was great! Raymond always managed to get us into the best viewing positions, too. He was personable, with a beautiful smile, and a great sense of humor. Raymond made our safari an experience we’ll never forget.

Ray was wonderful! Right away I could tell he was friendly, he was easy to understand, flexible about our schedule and passionate about the animals. He was great at spotting the animals and didn’t seem to mind that we wanted to be out and about all day long.

Raymond is wonderful! He kept us informed; his instructions were brief, clear, and reasons for instructions were given. He answered every question in depth. We received a clear briefing each day. Raymond was always, happy, kind and caring. I felt very safe with him. He kept our vehicle clean and stocked with water. He made sure to take us to clean restroom facilities.
