Wilfred was one of the best guides I have ever had. He had a wealth of knowledge about the country, the people, the parks, and the wildlife. He answered all our questions thoughtfully and was very articulate. He often showed us the bird or animal pictures from his guide book so that we could read more details. We enjoyed our safari with Wilfred and would highly recommend him to others. He is an excellent driver and that is important on the rough terrain in the parks. He was always very polite and made sure we were all comfortable each day before we set. Wilfred always told what the plan was for the day and made sure that plan was OK with us. He went out of his way to plan a tour day in Arusha for us at the end of our trip and that was very special! Most of all, we had fun on our safari!
“A2T is a first-rate safari company who really listens to get a handle on what you want from a safari/trip to Tanzania and works hard to provide a final itinerary within your budget, even if it takes multiple drafts. We appreciate that they are relatively small, and focus just on Tanzania, so they know their product really well. An added plus for us is how ethically they manage their business — they employ their guides all year round and will not use guides from the outside — if a time period fills up and all guides are assigned, then it is full. It was important to us that A2T uses some of its resources to help the Tanzanian people through Project Zawadi. It is even more impressive to understand just how much of a priority this project is to the owners now that we have visited. We can’t imagine travelling with any other company.”
