Raymond was very knowledgeable about wildlife, since he has a two year degree in this area. He was friendly and willing to share. He works hard and long hours. He could sense when to give people quiet time. He is a safe a courteous driver. Having a safe driver was important to us after having spent a prior week experiencing how driving can be in Tanzania. He knew the parks well and could spot wildlife that others might not see. He got us in position to see a stalk by a cheetah and then got us in a new position to see the kill by this same cheetah, which took skill to know where the cheetah would be going and to get there without spooking the kill. Every morning he brought us a cleaned up vehicle, which had to be difficult considering the dusty environment. He dressed professionally, and spoke highly of his employer as a good company that takes care of its employees, its customers and gives back to the poor in Tanzania.
“If you’re looking for a doorway into the world of Tanzania’s parks and wildlife, look no further! We’re very happy with our experience with A2T. From Casey’s initial response to the final itinerary, Casey helped us plan a memorable and exciting trip, asking many questions, listening to our feedback and changing things as necessary. He and Karen provided timely service and essential information about traveling to Tanzania and life on safari. Their lists, videos, and visa instructions were so helpful. Our itinerary was very well calibrated, so that each camp and park experience was different from the other, becoming progressively more exciting and magical in totally different ways! The transfer from the Seronera Airport to Stone Town was seamless, despite our bittersweet kwaheri to the mainland and Barney. Casey recommended we stay at Rivertrees Inn in Arusha on arrival, which was a good call for a soft landing after a long couple days of international travel. Thank you for helping us plan an incredible adventure!”
