Wilfred is wonderful. For him it was a week. I suspect my children will remember him for their lifetimes.
His work ethic is unmatched compared to other guides from different trips we’ve taken. He worked tirelessly to make our experience enjoyable. He was constantly in contact with other guides to help find the animals on safari. And not only did he make an effort to find them, he also made sure to get us in just the right spot for the perfect picture. He was also patient, kind and conscientious regarding our children.
Wilfred’s English is fantastic. His knowledge about animals – from knowing specific facts to knowledge about behavior to recognizing and reproducing their sounds – is phenomenal. And I think he must have super-hero eyes. He was spotting animals, while driving the Land Rover, that I could barely see with the binoculars. And regarding super-hero powers – I have no other way to comprehend 1. how he could drive on those roads and 2. how he knew where we were going. Nothing was marked and we were out in the savannah with limited landmarks.

We could ask all of our questions and get them answered immediately. I really liked the northern circuit we took with 2-3 nights at three different places. We were able to settle in a little bit and do the parks justice. The lodging chosen for us was excellent. I felt it was a good value for the price. It was not the least expensive or most expensive, but a good value for a private trip for our group of 5. It was exactly the experience we were hoping for in a safari.”
