We loved Tanzania!
Danny was a personable, and fun guide. He was also a great driver – he really knew the roads, was confident in driving even in foggy weather and on bumpy roads, and his driving was very safe. He was amazing at finding and spotting wildlife – he would see animals so far away without binoculars that would take us so long to even find with the binoculars. He was very dedicated and customer focused – When I told him I really liked the cats he was so adamant on finding them for me, even though the search for Cheetahs in the Serengeti one day took us almost 8 hours! We found them eventually 🙂 He was very knowledgeable about the animals and the culture. We were uncertain about his experience before our trip, but those doubts ended up being unwarranted as he was clearly experienced, knowledgeable and confident!
“What an amazing family experience. From the moment Willy picked us up at the airport to the moment he dropped us off we felt right at home. It’s hard to put into words the experience because it was truly life changing. You’d expect that we would say seeing lions (and boy did Willy the lion whisperer know how to find lions!) was the highlight. Don’t get me wrong that was wild! But our connection with Willy and doing things like visiting an orphanage and going to his house for a typical African dinner were outstanding. To have a little glimmer of how people in another country and culture live is to forage a lasting connection. We cried when we had to part with Willy because he had become family to us”
