Within a few days of meeting, we found that we have gained a lifelong friend. His wealth of experience and knowledge about the animals and nature of East Africa are outstanding. His manner and sense of humor put us at ease very quickly, while at the same time his professionalism made us confident that our safety, health and well-being were never at risk. Our conversations were lively and there was much laughter!

Maningo was most pleasant. I never felt I couldn’t ask a question. He was keen at spotting game and giving details about most any wildlife situation. He provided a reference guide that was fascinating. He drove carefully and respectfully not only of his passengers but also of the environment. He found a school for us to visit in spite of the examinations that made a visit to the public school unavailable.
