I don’t have enough positive things to say about Wilfred. First and foremost, we always felt safe with him and never felt he’d put us in a sketchy situation. We saw plenty of cars hit bumps too hard or get stuck in the mud, but never us. He navigated the terrain expertly while also spotting animals we never would have seen in a million years. We joked that he had a superhuman memory and superhuman eyesight. He was so knowledgeable, always had a thoughtful answer to all of our questions, and helped us work out the perfect day-to-day itinerary. He was also just a really fun guy to hang out with. Would 100% recommendation him to other travelers.

We almost always plan our own trips and it was nice to have someone else plan. There were a few surprises that we didn’t love, though, Zanzibar itinerary being the main one, and too many game drives in Tanzania – see more feedback below. Had we done our own research and planning we would have likely discovered these things ahead of time but did choose to rely on the experts.
There were a couple of accommodations that could have been better. Would have been nice to have options like for another $200/pp you could stay at x hotel in this place, etc.”
