David was great from start to finish. He met us at the airport, and was a great resource for our questions. Helped us stock up for our safari at the local grocery store. His knowledge and experience makes him an outstanding guide. He was always able to find the animals we wanted to see. His personality is easy going, and he likes to have fun with his safari party. We all had a great time.

David is excellent! He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the job.

Our guide, David, helped to make the trip the amazing adventure that it was! We felt comfortable with him from the start. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the animals. He even looked up animals in his guide books to make sure he was right, or that he pronounced the names correctly. He went out of his way to find as many animals as he could for us. He also parked his vehicle so we could get the best spot for our pictures. He was funny, keeping us laughing a majority of the time. He was a good driver on the rocky roads that we encountered. He was also patient, taking us to stores and waiting for us so we could do some shopping, without ever complaining. David had a great personality and felt like a member of the family. I would highly recommend him for anyone who is planning on making this adventure.

David was awesome! He kept us well informed, made sure we saw what we wanted to see and kept us laughing along the way.

David was on time and cautiously friendly when we arrived. It did not take long for him to warm up to us and we had a wonderful safari across Northern Tanzania because of him. David is excellent at understanding animal behavior. Many times he anticipated what was going to happen, so put us in the right spot to view something special. He obviously loves finding and watching animals and we were tireless customers. He never lost energy for the job even though we were on some long days. He is an excellent driver and we felt very safe with him in all kinds of conditions. He had the vehicle impeccably ready for us and was very ready to provide us with the experience we sought. We had several good laughs and there was a lot of joy in seeing David delighted with something. I imagine he is quite the story teller.

THE BEST!!! Number one! Outstanding. Fun personality. Took individual care of each one of us, including shoulder rides for 10-year old to “poly poly” grandma, and photographer. Worked early to 10 pm to get new tires and jeep in good shape. Drove to western corridor in Serengeti so we could see great migration, which was an extra plus that was not expected. Also insured we got to see rhino. Provided the best vantage point to view wildlife. Soaked his shoes placing boulders for crossing creek on hike. Feel blessed and lucky to get David as our safari guide.

Rodin was born to be a sculptor. Ted Williams was born to be a baseball player. David was born to be a safari guide. Too few people are exceptional at what they do. Fewer still take great joy in their profession. Those, like David, who exhibit joyful exceptionalism are the rarest of all. My family and I will never forget him and we’ll never be able to thank him enough for everything he did and for all that he meant to us. We made a great friend.

David was great. Always on time and always with a smile. Great sense of humor. Kept the jeep amazingly clean.

David was terrific!! Very knowledgeable, professional, considerate, funny, and adaptable. He worked hard to help us see a wide variety of animals. He was more than a guide; he became a friend. We had a great time with David; we’d like to have to him along on all our vacations.

During the trip, our guide David was wonderful. He was very outgoing and friendly, yet still very professional. He adapted seamlessly to our family’s personality and though the days were long, they were certainly never without humor, excitement, or wonder. David was also very skilled at troubleshooting in the moment, which proved to be crucial to our trip’s success. We had 2 flat tires, a few late days, and a few other possible issues arise; David took them all in stride and expertly created solutions, with a smile on his face or a joking comment ready to diffuse any hint of tension or anxiety that we may have felt. Aside from these minor mishaps that were well-dealt with, our trip was unreal, and with David’s expert guidance/recommendations and driving skills, we managed to easily see all of the Big 5 (on a 5-6 day trip); truly amazing!
