Fulgence was very knowledgeable in regards to the trip and all the animals. Was very good at picking out animals in the brush and trees. We also had Raymond, Danny and Nasibu as guides for the group and they were all very good. I would say that Fulgence and Raymond were the most knowledgeable of the guides.

I honestly don’t have any suggestions for how Fulgence could improve – he was awesome! We enjoyed every single minute of our safari! He had the perfect blend of knowledge, experience, humor and friendliness. Fulgence had an answer for every single one of our questions, and we asked a lot! Our teenage kids loved him too. We laughed and learned so much from him, including a lot of Swahili! We felt comfortable with Fulgence from day 1 and it was sad to say goodbye at the end of our safari. We would definitely request him again if we are ever lucky enough to return!

EXCELLENT! I cannot tell you how much our party LOVED Fulgence – his professionalism, knowledge, humor, and most importantly, his true love of what he does. He was, hands-down, the best guide I’ve ever had. We continue to keep in touch via whatsapp, and really cannot tell you how amazing he was!

Fulgence was great. Always pleasant. He was fantastic at spotting the animals (great vision) and was as excited to find some of them as we were. That was helpful because it was during those times that it felt like he was sharing the experience with us instead of just being the guide. Despite some very rough roads and significant bumps, I was surprised that I did not get nauseous riding in the van and I attribute that to Fulgence’s driving skills. I always felt safe with his driving. I think Fulgence probably knows as much about the animals as other guides and even more than many but he didn’t always tell us some of the characteristics about the animals as other guides had told their clients. Fulgence worked diligently to find some animals that we wanted to see but hadn’t yet found such as the cheetah.

Fulgence was fun and very knowledgeable. He tried very hard to give us what we wanted. We appreciated his knowledge of the country and of birds.

Fulgence did an amazing job ensuring that our safari was awesome. His knowledge of birds and his ability to spot them was truly amazing. Each day we were in Tanzania, there was at least one experience that made us sit back in awe of what we had just seen or experienced. I feel that Fulgence went above and beyond to make sure we had those experiences. Fulgence is very personable and is a great ambassador not only for Access 2 Tanzania but for the country of Tanzania. If all of your guides are like him, your company will be around for a very long time.

Fulgence was absolutely amazing. He is a delight to travel with. Warm and kind with a very sly sense of humor. Great eyesight and deep knowledge of the area and the wildlife, especially the birds. Infinite patience for picture taking and repetitive questions.

Fulgence is the greatest guide you can find in Tanzania. He loves his country, his job and everything related with the nature, wild animals and history of Tanzania; and he is so passionate about it that it gets contagious. We now love and admire Tanzania in so many ways thanks to what we learned with Fulgence. He made our experience unique and adventurous, exceeding all our expectations. A giant thank you to him from us!

Fulgence was an amazing guide and a wonderful person to be around. In terms of being an excellent guide: we would come back to camp telling people what we had seen that day, and they would always say we were so lucky. After a few days of this, we realized it couldn’t just be luck, but also Fulgence’s knowledge and skill that made it possible. Some of it may be good karma for him as well, since he was always the one to stop and help others who were stuck in the mud, give directions to other lost guides, or even give water and cash to people who’s car had broken down at the side of the road. Every single question we asked him about the animals or Tanzania he knew the answer to. We learned so much in our 9 days with him. Amazing, amazing trip that is mainly due to Fulgence. I would highly recommend him to anyone traveling to Tanzania.
