Maningo Magnificent
Maningo’s sole purpose was to make our trip as good as it could be. He hunted tirelessly to ensure we saw everything possible. He had a great sense of humor and was always professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. We also had Nasibu as a second guide. This worked very well – with them both complementing each other and ensuring we had the best safari experience possible
An Excellent Adventure Thanks to A2T and Maningo
We truly enjoyed our time with Maningo. As you know, he is friendly, skilled, knowledgable, curious, and enthusiastic. We were blown away by his ability to drive safely over very challenging terrain while simultaneously spotting animals that blend in well with their surroundings. Maningo is very special. He knows every animal and bird. He understands their behaviors and their habitats. Really is is just a wonderful human being. I just loved him!

I can’t say enough about Maningo! He is kind, knowledgeable and very patient! I will always think of Maningo when I think of the wonderful time I had visiting Tanzania.

Maningo was great. He did everything to help make our trip easy and enjoyable.
An unbelievable, life-altering trip
Our guides were wonderful. I think it was fantastic having 2 since they really complimented each other well. Maningo seemed more experienced within the National Parks with knowing where to go to have the best animal experience – he took the lead with this. Nasibu was very outgoing and seemed to know everyone – he was also very aware of asking us if we needed a break – he took the lead with this.
Great experience
Overall we thought Mangino was a good guide. He is very knowledgeable about the country, its customs, and its cultural complexities. He has an incredible ability at spotting animals when we would never have seen them. Maningo was funny, kind and patient, and we enjoyed our time with him.
Great Safari Trip We’ll Never Forget
In general, Maningo was great. He knew the parks, roads, and animals extremely well. He was a safe driver. Comfortable and friendly to be with for 10 days. Easy to talk to and communicate with. Sometimes we could have used a little more info about what the plan for the day was.
Excellent, first-rate!
Maningo has a deft touch, both in interpersonal relations (his great sense of humor, and ability to imitate American accents helped) and in sensing the group’s interests and needs. If I had to make a criticism, I’d note our occasional frustration as to where he was taking us on game drives; at times we would have liked to know that, “we’re driving down near the river, hoping to see X or Y,” but I’m pretty sure he was reluctant to spell out his plans because he didn’t want us to … Read More

Maningo was excellent — he was a very safe driver, a knowledgeable guide, had keen eyes for spotting animals, was responsive to our requests, and above all he was great company. He had a delightful sense of humor and we all enjoyed him. We came away feeling that he was not only a terrific guide — but a friend to all of us with our various ages (24 to 78)!
