Excellent–Ray was able to read our needs and respond, he was a great driver, and skilled at identifying animals. He bonded with my 15 year old grandson and was able to quickly eliminate his anxieties. We all became great friends–he is a really nice person, and we all felt fortunate to have him as our guide

Ray was excellent!

Ray was fantastic. I can’t praise him enough. He had a thorough knowledge of the animals and birds and seemed to have a sixth sense when it came to finding the animals. He was polite, very considerate of his travelers, and was a pleasure to be around. I would highly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania. One of the members of our party was a pretty serious birder, and he found his match in Ray. So if anyone has an interest in birds, as well as the amazing assortment of animals, I would recommend Ray as a guide.

Our guide, Raymond, was the highlight of our trip. When you are traveling to a country such as Tanzania with the goal of seeing lots of wildlife, your trip is completely dependent on your tour guide. We really lucked out to get a courteous, knowledgeable, and fun guide in Raymond. We felt completely safe as he was a very good driver and we saw so much wildlife as Raymond was often the one that would spot the animals. One of the days, Raymond was the one that spotted a cheetah with five cubs on a hunt and notified other tour guides so others could see the amazing action that we were watching. We felt that we had not only a guide, but a new friend in Raymond.

Ray was awesome very knowledgeable, caring and most of all very passionate about his work. He made our safari experience very memorable and we love him. If we ever go back, we would not have anyone else other than him. I would strongly recommend him to our friends and family.

Ray was spectacular in all respects: friendly, very knowledgeable (about animals, TNZ, and US), hard-working, excellent driving (in some pretty tough conditions sometimes), easy to spend long days with in the vehicle (relaxed, easy going). We enjoyed Ray’s company very much. We are more than “good to go” with Ray. Even invited him to stay with us should he ever travel to the US.

Ray showed us what we came to see, an abundance of wildlife. His eyesight is phenomenal, spotting wildlife too distant for me to see without optical aids. I don’t know how he was able to do it. He speaks English very well, has a good sense of humor, and is easy to talk to. Ray handles the driving tasks exceptionally well. The roads were nearly impassible in places, but he got us through or went around. He knows the territory extremely well. Our safety was his primary concern.

Maningo was wonderful, very knowledgeable and extremely patient. He searched out every animal we asked to see. Most of all, he is a nice man.

As mentioned before, Ray was excellent. Not only personable but extremely knowledgeable and you could see the passion that he has for his job. we feel very fortunate that he was our guide for the week.

Raymond has a love and passion for the job that he does. He is so knowledgeable and insightful of everything we came across. From not only all the animals, but also the geography, the people and Tanzania. He has this incredible ability to find the animals. I really enjoyed our conversations at dinner.
