Fulgence was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and has an almost superhuman ability to spot animals, as well as being friendly and personable. He seemed to have a good relationship with the other guides, which was helpful in finding wildlife. His communication skills are excellent, and we are happy he taught us a little Swahili!

Everything was excellent from Fulgence. We especially appreciated his clear annunciation and vast knowledge of the environment, animals, and people. He was very kind and made sure we were satisfied with all aspects of our tour. He was also beyond amazing at spotting wildlife and got us very close to many species. He was also a very safe and courteous driver.

Fulgence was simply spectacular! He had the most amazing ability to spot animals at a distance…he could spot a leopard tail in a tree that I could not even discern with binoculars. Every single animal we wanted to see, he found for us. We saw all of the Big 7, including a beautiful cheetah and a lioness with her cubs. Fulgence found two of the elusive leopards for us. I asked to see a Grey Crowned Crane – and voila – he found a couple within 30 minutes. Plus, he had an encyclopedic knowledge of animal behavior and forestry. I didn’t need the guidebook I brought with me — Fulgence knew everything. We saw so many animals, it was incredible…I had 700 photos after the first day! Plus Fulgence was also kind and thoughtful…twice he came to the aid of other drivers, pulling them out of the mud. Fulgence had a well-equipped vehicle and was an excellent navigator. He was simply perfect as our guide. We hoped we would be able to catch a wildebeest migration crossing. We caught FOUR crossings, of which two were simply spectacular! These sightings were due in large part to Fulgence’s determination to go back…

The best part of the entire trip was Fulgence. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced guide. He has a telescopic eyesight and can spot animals which we miss even with binoculars. He was always punctual and followed schedule without failure. He ensured we experienced everything Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro had to offer. His happy nature was helpful through the 12 day trip. He shared his knowledge about the animal and their behavior freely. He taught us few Swahili words to get by in Tanzania. He was aware of my photographic interest and made sure I was able to take my pictures.

Our guide, Fulgence Kennedy, was extremely knowledgeable and fun! He showed us the Big 5 up close and personal, as well as every other animal that lives in Tanzania. We were amazed that he knew the name of every bird. Fulgence’s goal was to keep us happy; he heard that we liked ginger snaps and popcorn. Each day of our safari, these snacks were readily available.

Fulgence was absolutely amazing. He was funny and so kind hearted. He seemed to really love the animals, not just showing us the animals. His easy confidence put us at ease, and we especially loved it when we stayed in places where he could eat meals with us. We were so comfortable with him and to be honest, we miss him! I can’t imagine having done the safari without him. Scores of 10 don’t seem high enough!

Superior! Fulgence was so extremely knowledgeable, with such unbelievable eyesight. He was always punctual, very easy to converse with, patient with those of us who didn’t have the eyes of a hawk, so friendly. He went to great lengths to ensure we got the most out of every day’s safari, even adjusting the position of the vehicle to ensure the best photos. We could not have asked for better. We might have expected his level of animal knowledge, but the birds – fantastic!

Fulgence was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. He was very good at finding where the animals were at a particular time of day. He made sure we all had great access to photograph the best pictures.

Fulgence was excellent from the beginning to end, Nothing was too much trouble from chasing our bags that didn’t arrive with us in Kilimanjaro to getting getting one our bags repaired because the zip had broken. His knowledge was just amazing about all the places we visited and the animals we saw. He just seemed to have a sixth sense as to where the animals would be. Still can’t believe just how much wildlife we saw in eight days.
